7. Sixteens and Secondaries - Taught by Bonnie Folkner THURSDAY MORNING

Who has too many scraps? ME!  Who wants to use them up?  ME!  Who wants a gorgeous scrappy quilt instead of an ugly one with no rhyme or reason?  ME! 

If you answered "ME!" to these questions, you need to come experiment with sixteens and secondaries.  We are going to explore how using secondary blocks along with simple sixteen-patches can change the whole feel of a quilt. Depending on the color palette and the secondary block you choose, it will look completely different. Bring your sixteen-patches already finished and I'll bring several secondary blocks that we can "audition" to help you make decisions on which secondary block is for you!
