CLASS CANCELED 1. Machine Applique/Choo Choo Quilt - Taught by Laurel Workman - WEDNESDAY MORNING

In this class we will learn/practice how to applique by machine, using the buttonhole or zigzag stitch. We will also discuss fun ways to use this method on Children’s quilts—fun backing ideas, incorporating children’s names, making your own applique designs, etc. We will learn/practice using the train from the darling “Choo-Choo” quilt pattern from Pie Plate Patterns. If you want to make the Choo-Choo quilt, I have six kits available which include fabric for the front, back, and binding for $45. The pattern cost for the Downloadable Choo-Choo pattern, should you choose to buy it, is $8. Please pre-purchase it and

If you prefer a kit for practice only, the cost will be $5. Bring black or dark brown thread, machine foot for zigzag or buttonhole stitch, and basic sewing supplies.
