6. Beginning Quiltmaking - Taught by Bonnie Folkner - THURSDAY MORNING & AFTERNOON

This class takes snippets (or big chunks) of Brenda's well-loved six-week Beginning Quilt making class and combines it all into one long, wonderful day of quiltmaking.

This class will be from 8:30 am -3:30 pm with an hour break for lunch.

If you're a beginner or know one, this will be perfect for you. Part of the class will focus on teaching the techniques, and part will be sewing and using your new knowledge of quilting. We will all be working on this 40" x 40" sampler quilt while learning about cutting, pressing, 1/4" seams, strip piecing, half square triangles, flying geese, quarter square triangles and stich-n-flip. If we have extra time, we will cover finishing your quilt.

Bring your daughter, friend or sister and come and learn with me. BTW, I designed the quilt pattern to use a charm pack (5" squares) to make fabric selection SO much easier!
