11. Blue Moon - Taught by Krisanne Watkins - FRIDAY MORNING
Every once in a while, one finds a quilt design that begs to be made.
Featured in Quiltmaker Winter 2025 issue, this two-block quilt is labor intensive but worth the effort. Feel free to substitute fabrics of your choice, prints or solids or both? Quiltmaker wrote the pattern as foundation pieced, but alternative methods will also be demonstrated in class.
Blue Moon was initially supposed to include prints from a specific line of fabric and
using more pedestrian colors. I had initially replaced the solids in the design with those
prints. It turns out that the solids won after all.
Feel free to choose your own fabrics for this quilt.
Class time will include working with TriRecsĀ® Tool set, square in a square technique,
eight at a time half square triangles and so much more.
Hoping you will join us!
