We have a little five year old girl around these parts that has been "waiting and waiting" for us to make a quilt just for her! Her name is Lucy, but one of her many nicknames is LuLu. We used 10" squares when we designed the quilt, so you could easily make this quilt up with a layer cake - a bundle of 10" squares. Once you've chosen your layer cake, you just have to pick borders and leaf fabric...and don't forget the giant rick rack that makes the stems or the huge buttons that make the flowers centers. We know that you'll have a blast making this simple quilt. It works up so quickly, that you'll soon want to make another to give away as a gift!
